A fused outlet plate used to hardwire an appliance instead of using a plug.
Notes
An FCU looks a bit like a socket faceplate but feeds a fixed appliance through a cartridge fuse — common for hoods, heaters, or alarm panels.
It may be switched or unswitched. Ask whether the appliance should be pluggable or fused-spurred.
