Why I'm listing this
During my China carpentry install I needed height for the study cabinetry. I asked around — another installer quoted about $500 to rent a scaffold. I bought this aluminium mobile unit from Taobao for under $200 instead.
If you land on renodirectly and just need a scaffold for a short job in Singapore, you can rent mine. Peer-to-peer — my unit, my terms. $50 one-time, not a daily hire-shop clock.

Flat fee — not per day. Bring it back when you're done, preferably within two weeks. Need longer? Just get in touch. Pretty flexible on this.
Specs & dimensions
Two-tier aluminium mobile scaffold — indoor residential size. The Taobao listing spec is 315 cm high with a 140 × 70 cm platform. Working size = set up for use; packed size = folded, as the seller measured it.

Length × width × height when both layers are stacked. Platform is 140 cm × 70 cm; overall height is 315 cm (about 3.15 m).

158 × 75 × 18 cm
Packed size from the seller: 158 cm high, 75 cm wide, 18 cm thick. I don't know what vehicle that fits — pick-up is in Punggol, so use these numbers to check Grab, a courier, or your own boot.
Safety features
This is the listing I bought against — two-tier, thickened frame, brake casters, anti-slip platforms. What that means in use:
- Two-tier (double layer) — two working platform levels, 315 cm overall height when both layers are stacked. Reach for high cubbies and ceiling-height carpentry without standing on a chair.
- 360° swivel casters with brakes — wheels turn in any direction so you can roll the tower into place, then lock them so it doesn't roll while you're on it. Lock all four before you climb.
- Anti-slip platforms — textured / perforated treads so your feet grip instead of sliding on a smooth board. Same perforated deck in the photo above.
- Thickened and reinforced frame — heavier-gauge aluminium tubes than the thinnest cheap units. Still a consumer Taobao scaffold, not a commercial hire-shop tower — use it for short indoor reno work you're comfortable doing yourself.
Pick-up & return
- Pick-up in Punggol — that's the area. Self pick-up and return is the default. Arrange a time with me, collect the unit, bring it back when you're done — not on a daily clock.
- Preferably within two weeks — that's the ask, not a hard cutoff. Jobs overrun; if you need to keep it longer, just get in touch. Pretty flexible.
- Prefer delivery? Arrange your own courier or Grab to pick up and return from Punggol. I don't run a delivery fleet — check with them using the packed size above.
- Not selling this as new retail. Not claiming HDB approval. Use it safely for short indoor reno work you're comfortable doing yourself.
